JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Administrator
HOURS: 17.5 hours per week
SALARY: £8190 per annum
HOLIDAYS 14 days annual leave plus public holidays
REPORT TO: Food Bank Project Coordinator
ROLE DESCRIPTION: Carry out general administrative duties within Compassion Food Bank
WORKING PATTERN: Although the majority of the work would be done during normal 9-5 office hours, there will also be a requirement for some evening and weekend work to fulfil the role. However hours will be flexible to accommodate this within the 20 hour average working week
DUTIES:

To maintain food bank filing systems (manual and online)
-
To be the first point of contact for enquiries, responding on behalf of the foodbank to letters and emails

To interview food bank users and order food parcels
-
To order equipment, office stock and stationary
-
To maintain a foodbank phone and email account
-
To update the website and maintain social media presence
-
To update staff notice boards
-
To ensure working areas are kept clean and tidy
-
To attend and assist in events to promote Compassion Food Bank
-
Support the Project Coordinator and Volunteer Co-ordinator as necessary
-
To be available from time to time for additional duties.
Key Skills

An ability to work flexibly, identify problems and create solutions.

Good communication skills both oral and written

Good IT skills including Windows, email, internet, spreadsheets

Good knowledge and experience of social media including twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc.
