The aims will be achieved as follows:
To work in partnership with prison Chaplaincy teams.
To provide sessions of worship and praise, bible study, teachings, counselling and fellowship groups.
To meet the needs of prisoners as far as possible, within the rules of the establishment.
To provide support where an individual needs time to address their issues be it spiritual, emotional or social well being.
To provide an environment where inmates feel comfortable in expressing themselves, and their faith.
To provide an objective and open process which is fair and reasonable by all parties irrespective of offence, race, gender, sexuality or religion.
To work in partnership with churches and other agencies in providing after care facilities for prisoners.

Aims and Objectives
The Purpose of Compassion Prison Ministries will be:
To provide a Christian witness across the Prison Service in the UK to prisoners and prison staff.
To provide an aftercare service to prisoners upon their release back into their community.
